Who uses a web based designer?

Probably the most asked question we receive at Design & Click is: 'I do not print T-shirts now, do I need to be printer to own a Design & Click designer?'  The answer is surprising to some.  The answer is NO.  Design & Click has many customers who only have a web site with a Design & Click designer.  These customers simply contract the decoration of the garments or ad specialty items to producers.  Some contractors will also providing shipping, too.  This is not an affiliate store where you make only a small fee.  With Design & Click you set your own prices and handle all your money transactions.  If you do not know a contract decorator contact us and we will help you locate a decorator.  The Design & Click designer is a store that either supplements your current business or is a free standing business open 24/7 anywhere the www reaches.

Orlando Immprinted Sportwear Show (ISS)

This Thursday, Friday & Saturday we will be at the ISS Show in Orlando (http://www.issshows.com/orlando/).  This year the ISS has combined with FESPA and Graphics of the Americas shows.  The attendance from both suppliers and attendees should be at record levels for good reasons.  There is change everywhere in the decorated apparel business.  Many new things to see will make this a must attend show for many people.  Design & Click will have our show special in booth #105.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Is a 'customer design experience' for you?

We talked to many people this past weekend at the ISS Show in Long Beach.  The concept of a designer for apparel is not a new thing.  What is a 'customer-design experience'?  It is a interactive design area that web site visitor is the t-shirt designer.  They design their own t-shirt & pay for it all in one experience.  How hasn't ordered business cards from Vista Print?   It is exactly the same but for garments & ad specialty items.  In fact, many show visitors said they were seeing screen-captures from web sites that offer customer design services, for their customers.  Their customers were now designing shirts on other companies sites and coming back to them wanting them to do the decoration work.  This is a curse and a blessing.  Their customers had gone somewhere else to enjoy a 'customer design experience' (the curse of them trying another company) but had come back them for them to do the work (the blessing that they were kind enough to come to them).  Wouldn't be easier to offer a design area on your

Record attendance at the Long Beach ISS Show

Friday was a record turn-out for the 2011 Long Beach Imprinted Sportswear Show. Even though the weather was absolutely beautiful even by Southern California standards, the over 350 show exhibitors were busy all day with customers.
